Jim Swanson

Jim Swanson has extensive work experience in distribution and warehouse management. From 2001 to present, they have been the Distribution Manager at Earth, Inc., where their responsibilities include overseeing warehouse and distribution operations, negotiating with small package and LTL carriers, maintaining the facilities, monitoring the security system, working with the China office and international freight forwarders, and working with the Customs broker and U.S. Customs officials. Prior to this, they were the Warehouse Manager at Joan and David Helpern, Inc. from 1969 to 2001. Jim'sroles included import/export management, facilities management, traffic management, scheduling/logistics, inventory control, purchasing management, U.S. Customs requirements, staff training and development, identifying/minimizing shrinkage, leadership/direct supervision, meeting critical deadlines, and vendor selection and qualification.

Jim Swanson has a Certification in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Northeastern University.
