Nikhil Kulkarni

Nikhil Kulkarni has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to the present. In 2016, they worked as the Managing Director for Gateway- Academy for GATE Coaching and as Design Engineer for Innova Technosolutions, where they worked on designing PCBs and writing codes for projects. In 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where they worked on forest fire dynamics using machine learning. In 2021, they worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, where they worked on pre-processing algorithms for satellite imageries and DHS survey for predicting poverty. Nikhil is currently employed as the Director of AI and data science at Earthbanc.

Nikhil Kulkarni obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 2011 and 2015. Nikhil then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) within the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) from 2018 to 2020.
