Chris Espinosa

Legislative Director, Climate & Energy at Earthjustice

Chris Espinosa currently serves as the Legislative Director for Climate & Energy at Earthjustice since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Outreach & Engagement for the House Committee on Natural Resources from October 2017 to January 2023, and Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at GreenLatinos during 2016-2017. Espinosa previously worked as a Legislative Representative for Earthjustice from June 2013 to 2016, and as a Senior Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives in early 2013. From 2009 to 2013, Espinosa held the position of National Director of Advocacy for the Hispanic Federation, managing the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda coalition. Earlier roles include National Director of Special Projects for the League of United Latin American Citizens from 2008 to 2009 and Deputy Director at the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement from 2007 to 2008. Espinosa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business & Public Administration from the University of Phoenix and an Associate of Arts in General Liberal Arts & Sciences from Ventura College.
