Gabriela Valentin Diaz

Gabriela Valentin Diaz serves as a Staff Attorney and Bertha Justice Legal Fellow at EarthRights International since September 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Street Law Facilitator and Human Rights Clinic Fellow at the University of Miami School of Law, where responsibilities encompassed researching systemic racism, mentoring students, and authoring proposals on Indigenous women's rights. Additional positions held involve internships at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, and Elanco, along with a Law Clerk role at Haber Law. Gabriela began a career in advocacy through the National 4-H Council Youth Advisory Committee and various communications roles, including an internship at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. Gabriela holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
