Laura Posada Correa is an experienced attorney with a strong background in human rights and community development. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney and Bertha Justice Fellow at EarthRights International since September 2019, Laura previously held significant positions such as Territorial Director and Community Management Director at TECHO Uruguay from September 2017 to September 2019. Before that, Laura worked with the Unidad Administrativa Especial de Gestión de Restitución de Tierras Despojadas, where responsibilities included advocating for ethnic rights and coordinating interdisciplinary efforts for land restitution in various regions. Laura's career also includes roles at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and TECHO | TETO, where expertise in community support and integration was developed. Academic credentials include a law degree from Universidad EAFIT, a specialization in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law from Universidad de Antioquia, and a master's candidacy in Human Sciences at Universidad de la República.
