Ezra Neale has extensive experience in the field of reforestation and conservation. Ezra currently works as the VP Forest Projects at Earthshot Labs, where they lead a team in developing large-scale reforestation and conservation programs. Prior to this, they founded the Global Forest Group. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Director of Forest Monitoring and Evaluation at Eden Reforestation Projects. Before that, they worked as a consultant focused on conservation, climate change, and REDD+. Ezra also has experience as the REDD+ and Climate Change Manager at the Wildlife Conservation Society, where they oversaw various programs in Papua New Guinea. Earlier in their career, they served as a Technical Advisor at Bioclimate, a Program Manager at the Resource Conservation District of Santa Cruz County, and a Grants Manager at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
Ezra Neale completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont, from the year 1994 to 1998. Later, Ezra pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of California, Davis, from the year 2004 to 2006.
