Justin Jahnz

Justin Jahnz has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Justin currently serves as a Board Member at NRTC. Prior to this, they worked at East Central Energy for 12 years, holding various roles such as President/CEO, Manager of Energy Services and Strategic Projects, Energy Services Supervisor, and Energy Services Specialist. Before joining East Central Energy, Justin worked as a Service/Maintenance Electrician at Medina Electric, LLC. Overall, Justin's work experience spans over two decades and includes leadership positions in the energy sector.

Justin Jahnz began their education at the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1996 to 1999, where they studied Wildlife, Fish and Wildlands Science and Management. From 1999 to 2001, they attended Anoka Hennepin Technical College, focusing on Construction Electrician. Justin later attended Anoka-Ramsey Community College from 2013 to 2015, earning an Associate in Science Degree in Business, Industry & Technology. Jahnz pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Metro State University from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they took part in the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association's Management Internship Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Most recently, from 2018 to 2019, Jahnz pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Strategic Leadership at Bethel University.
