Garry Kinson

Garry Kinson has over 25 years of experience in project management, particularly in the energy and engineering industries. In their most recent role as Project Manager at East Energy Renewables, they oversee projects related to renewable energy. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Manager at The JNE Group of Companies, where they managed projects related to rail mills and steel-making facilities. Garry also served as the Director of Project Services at CEM Engineering, where they were responsible for bringing the experts and resources to clients for successful construction and operation of power plants. Additionally, they worked as a Deputy General Manager and Project Manager at Samsung C&T Corporation, where they managed the Grand Renewable Windfarm project. Other notable companies they worked for include Enbridge, MAN Diesel, VA Tech Escher Wyss Hydro, Siemens Canada, and Westinghouse Canada.

Garry Kinson attended the University of Ottawa from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Garry subsequently obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer in 1992 from Professional Engineers Ontario. Later, in 2005, they obtained another certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. In 2009, they completed an Executive Program at Queen's School of Business, Queen's University.
