Chelsie Bakken

Chelsie Bakken is an accomplished communications and marketing professional currently serving as the Communications and Marketing Manager at East River Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. since August 2022. As the Owner and Creative Director of Fruit Cocktail Creative Studios since 2009, Chelsie specializes in illustration, photography, writing, graphic design, advertising, and social media management. Previous roles include Public Information Officer for the City of Brookings, Marketing and Media Coordinator at South Dakota State University, and various teaching positions imparting knowledge on social media design and advertising. Chelsie's extensive background in graphic design includes significant experience at JDS Industries, Inc. and LX Magazine, emphasizing creative direction and branding. Chelsie holds a Master of Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from South Dakota State University.
