Deputy Director Of Early Childhood Education at East Side House Settlement

Dawn Heyward, LMSW, MS-NPL, is an experienced leader in early childhood education and social work, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Early Childhood Education at East Side House Settlement since May 2015. Dawn's previous roles include Associate Director at Spence-Chapin, where Dawn developed the Adoption from Foster Care Program, and Assistant Director at Seamen's Society, overseeing various programs related to foster care. Dawn has also worked as Regional Director of Permanency at Graham-Windham and as a Senior Social Worker at F.E.G.S. Educational credentials include a Doctorate of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University, a Master of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Fordham University, and a Master of Social Work from Fordham University. Additionally, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology was obtained from The College of New Rochelle.
