Michele Huntoon

Associate Superintendent of Business Services at EAST SIDE UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT

Dr. Huntoon previously held the position as Superintendent for a small school district for six years responsible for the instructional and operational disciplines of the organization. Dr. Huntoon has been a frequent project team member for the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT), which includes services to school agencies throughout California for financial, operational, and programmatic studies. She was the Chief Business Official for Stockton Unified School District, the 19th largest school district in the State of California. In this role, she was responsible for all financial and non-instructional disciplines in the District. Prior to joining the leadership team in Stockton, She was an Associate Vice President for 14 years with School Services of California, Inc. (SSC). As an Associate Vice President at SSC, she participated in the company’s leadership team regarding the company operations. As a consultant in K-12 education providing a myriad of services in all of the operational areas of school management. She began her career in school finance more than twenty-six years ago as an independent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) auditing school agencies (school districts, county offices of education, and charters). Before joining SSC, she owned a business that provided services to K-12 school agencies and small tax practice.
