Suzanne Rybczynski, MD, MSHCM has a diverse work experience spanning across various medical institutions. Suzanne began their career at Mersey Community Hospital as a Consultant Paediatrician in 1999. From there, they moved on to Via Health, where they worked as a Pediatrician from 2000 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Dr. Robert Miller's Pediatric Practice as a General Pediatrician before transitioning to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center as a Pediatric Hospitalist in 2007. Suzanne also held positions at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics starting in 2017. In 2008, they started their tenure at Kennedy Krieger Institute, initially working as a Pediatric Hospitalist before becoming the Medical Director of the Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit from 2010 to 2018. Suzanne then took on the role of Associate Chief Medical Officer & VP - Quality, Patient Safety, and Professional Affairs, which they continue to hold. Most recently, they were appointed as the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Programs at East Tennessee Children's Hospital, starting in 2023.
Suzanne Rybczynski, MD, MSHCM began their education journey in 1987 at the University of Mississippi, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. After completing their undergraduate studies in 1991, they enrolled at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. From 1991 to 1995, they dedicated their time to studying and earned a Medical Doctor (MD) degree, specializing in the field of Medicine.
In 2017, Suzanne Rybczynski decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Care Management at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. Suzanne successfully completed this program in 2021.
Throughout their education, Suzanne Rybczynski has focused on broadening their understanding of history and medical sciences, eventually combining these skills with their recent studies in health care management to pursue a well-rounded career in the medical field.
