MD. Tawhid-ul Islam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. MD. TAWHID-UL began their career at The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd. (HSBC) in 2005, where they worked as an Officer in the Network Services Centre (NSC) Department. Their responsibilities included providing support to customers for solving problems related to documentary credits, import and export oriented documents, and payment instructions.
In 2009, MD. Tawhid-ul Islam transitioned to the role of Payments CoE Manager in the Service Delivery Department at HSBC. In this role, they focused on providing support to customers for solving problems related to advising documentary credits and DC payments. MD. TAWHID-UL also ensured service delivery in line with Service Level Agreements and maintained regular communication with business lines.
MD. Tawhid-ul Islam then joined Eastern Bank PLC. in 2013 as a Manager in the Account Services Unit within the Service Delivery, Operation Division. Here, they were responsible for timely processing of all account services-related activities centralized at the Service Delivery in Dhaka, as well as ensuring proper documentation and maintenance of customer account opening information.
MD. TAWHID-UL later progressed to the role of Manager in the Service Quality team within the Consumer Banking Division at Eastern Bank PLC. Their responsibilities included managing the structured complaint and feedback management system, ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints, and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies.
In 2017, MD. Tawhid-ul Islam was promoted to Senior Manager at Eastern Bank PLC. and took on additional responsibilities. These included developing standardized service blueprints, identifying areas of improvement for branch procedures and technology, and implementing a complaint management system to monitor and investigate complaints.
Most recently, MD. Tawhid-ul Islam has been serving as the Head of Payroll Support & CPU at Eastern Bank PLC. Their role involves monitoring and resolving payroll customers' queries, managing the Payroll Management Information System, ensuring proper salary disbursement, and supervising the CPU team for account opening processes.

MD. Tawhid-ul Islam has a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Dhaka. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons.) in Applied Statistics from the same university. MD. TAWHID-UL completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C) from Dhaka Residential Model College and their Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) from Dhanmondi Govt. Boys High School.
