Daniel Hayward

Daniel Hayward is an experienced field umpire currently working with AFL South East since June 2024 and has extensive experience in gridiron officiating with the Australian Gridiron Officials Association and Victorian Gridiron Officials Association since January 2022. Additionally, Daniel serves as an Administration Assistant at FNTSIA Transport Pty Ltd. since February 2020, showcasing strong organizational and communication skills. As the Founder and Owner of Extreme Weather Forecasting Pty Ltd. since October 2019, Daniel develops detailed weather forecasts and analyses for various clients, including government entities. With a background in AFL umpiring dating back to 2011 across multiple organizations, Daniel has consistently demonstrated a commitment to upholding game rules and player safety. Daniel holds a Certificate IV in New Small Business from Holmesglen and is furthering education at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research.
