Dorothy Jean Weaver

Dorothy Jean Weaver is a distinguished academic in New Testament studies with over three decades of experience at Eastern Mennonite Seminary, serving as Professor Emerita and Professor of New Testament, along with roles as a guest lecturer internationally in locations such as Ethiopia, Cairo, Bethlehem, and Beirut. Weaver's teaching repertoire includes intensive courses tailored for pastors and church leaders, as well as specialized coursework in New Testament Christology and the Life of Jesus. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from Union Presbyterian Seminary, an MDiv from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, and a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages from Eastern Mennonite University.
