Paul Buellesbach is a vice president, senior chemical engineer, and program manager at ERG. During his nearly 30-year career, he has supported a broad array of environmental programs covering every environmental medium and every major environmental statute. His experience includes sector profile development, data collection and analysis, site inspections and audits, field sampling, control technology evaluation and costing, statistical analysis of control technology performance data to support limit setting, and general regulatory support.
Paul led the development of and currently manages ERG’s compliance and enforcement practice, under which ERG has supported evaluations and assessments of thousands of industrial facilities—work that has helped the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency improve human health and the environment by achieving significant pollutant reductions. Paul has also led the development of cutting-edge compliance assistance training programs and information technology tools, including EPA’s Enforcement and Compliance History Online and the agency’s Discharge Monitoring Report Pollutant Loading Tool.
Paul holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
