Ryan Vannice has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Ryan began their career at Eastman Kodak in 1988, where they worked as a Cooperative Education Student in various roles including plant maintenance, process improvement, research, and engineering. In 1991, they transitioned to Eastman Chemical Company, where they held several positions. As an Advanced Chemical Engineer in the Engineering and Construction Division, they primarily worked on environmental engineering projects related to air pollution control. Ryan then moved on to work as an Advanced Chemical Engineer at the wastewater treatment plant, focusing on process improvement projects, particularly in biosolids management. Following that, they served as a Senior Chemical Engineer in the Environmental Services Lab, primarily working on air sampling and analysis programs and projects. Since 2003, Ryan has held the position of Principal Chemical Engineer at Eastman Chemical Company, where they are responsible for waste management, capital project management, process improvement, reliability management, safety and environmental compliance initiatives, and the management of change process.
Ryan Vannice earned a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech between 1992 and 1996. Prior to that, between 1986 and 1991, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
