Kate Murphy

Kate Murphy is a marketing and communications professional with a focus on sustainability in the fashion industry. Currently serving as a Freelance Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Eastside since January 2023, Kate also holds the position of Trustee for the non-profit organization merch.eco, which promotes ethical suppliers to empower consumers. Previous roles include Communications Manager at This Way Next and Sustainability Communications Coordinator at Global Fashion Agenda. With experience spanning various positions such as Communications Assistant at Copenhagen Fashion Week and Stylist and Social Media at Øst London, Kate has developed a robust skill set in public relations and digital communication. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Public Relations and Communication from the London College of Fashion and has completed additional courses on fashion sustainability and culture.
