Head Of Regional Tax at Eastspring Investments

Min Liang Chia has a strong background in tax, with extensive experience in various managerial roles. Min Liang began their career at Arthur Andersen in 1996 as a Tax Manager, where they worked until 2002. Min Liang then joined EY as a Tax Manager for two years before moving to DBS Bank in 2004, where they served as Vice President until 2007. Following their time at DBS Bank, they worked at Barclays Investment Bank as an Associate Director for a year before returning to DBS Bank as a Vice President from 2008 to 2014. Currently, they are the Head of Regional Tax at Eastspring Investments, a position they have held since 2014. In their role, they are responsible for the tax affairs of all entities in the Eastspring Investments Group and the funds they manage globally. This includes tax risk management, new product approvals, corporate and indirect tax advisory and compliance, transfer pricing, fund structuring, and tax training.

Min Liang Chia began their education at Westlake Primary School from 1979 to 1984. Min Liang then attended Victoria School from 1985 to 1988. After completing their secondary education, Min Liang Chia enrolled at Anderson Junior College from 1989 to 1990. Finally, they pursued a degree in Accountancy at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 1993 to 1996.
