Michael O'Sullivan is currently a PhD student at The Francis Crick Institute under the guidance of Dr. Charlie McTernan since September 2022. Previously, Michael provided private tutoring from July 2021 to June 2023 and completed an industrial placement at Sosei Heptares between September 2021 and July 2022. Early experience includes a student assistant role at INOVYN focused on polymer chemistry in July 2019, where tasks involved various titrations and particle size analysis, as well as additional student assistant work at Mexichem, emphasizing analytical chemistry methods in August 2017. Michael also served as a tennis coaching assistant at Ben Saunders Tennis from June 2014 to August 2018. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Natural and Mathematical Sciences at King's College London (2022 - 2026) and an MChem in Chemistry from the University of York (2018 - 2022), following education at Merchant Taylors' Schools, Crosby (2011 - 2018).
