Sophie Kay

Sophie Kay is an accomplished tutor currently providing online Science and Mathematics education at EasyA, consistently achieving 5-star ratings from students. In addition to tutoring, Sophie has served as a Student Ambassador at Imperial Materials and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Imperial College London, where research focused on scalable materials processing for lignocellulosic foams under the guidance of Professor Koon-Yang Lee. Sophie's involvement in the Imperial College London Prosthetics Society includes working on a prosthetic leg design for the 2024 Cybathlon. Prior research experience includes a project on metal-organic frameworks and work experience in mechanical engineering and biotechnology. With a foundation in customer service from Carphone Warehouse, Sophie is pursuing a degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Imperial College London.
