Oscar Virgen Casillas

Oscar Virgen Casillas has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Oscar started their career as a Full Stack Engineer at Pizza Twins in September 2017, where they worked until January 2018. Oscar then joined Universidad de Colima as an Engineering Intern in October 2018, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP, JavaScript, Jquery, and Ajax. Oscar also gained experience in source code management technologies such as Git and GitLab.

In January 2020, Oscar worked as a Full Stack Engineer at EasyLex for a brief period before being promoted to the role of TechLead in July 2021. In this role, they displayed leadership and technical skills in managing a team and overseeing the development of technological projects. In August 2022, Oscar was further promoted to the position of Chief Technology Officer, demonstrating their expertise and strategic thinking in guiding the technological direction of the company.

Oscar Virgen Casillas pursued a degree in Software Engineering with a focus on Computer Science at the Universidad de Colima from 2016 to 2020. Oscar obtained additional certifications during their education, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in April 2022 and the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in December 2022.
