Paula Velayos

Paula Velayos has worked in various roles in the entertainment industry since 2013. Paula began their career as a member and 2nd Assistant Director at Glasgow Film Crew in 2013. Paula then worked as a Digital Media Intern at United Sports USA in 2016, and as a Public Relations representative for G1 Group PLC in 2014. In 2014, they also worked for Glasgow University Student Television in various roles, including camera operator, lighting, sound design and acting. In 2014, they also worked as a Helper for Glasgow Youth Film Festival. In 2017, they worked as a Screenwriter and Project Development for Yellow Kingdom. In 2018, they worked as a Screenwriter and Translator for The Walt Disney Company, and as a Digital Marketing and Video Editor for The Pathfinders. In 2019, they worked as a Screenwriter for Netflix, and in 2020 they worked as a Project Manager for EasyVirtualFair.

Paula Velayos completed their A levels at King's College, Soto de Viñuelas. Paula then attended the University of Glasgow, graduating with a degree in Film & TV Studies/ Digital Media & Information Studies in 2017. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Boston College, earning a degree in Communications with a focus on Film/Cinema/Video Studies, Cultural Studies and Online Communication. In 2018, they completed a short course in Screenwriting at RMIT University.
