Jonas Mallisse has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jonas co-founded Eat More Trees, a documentary-making venture that promotes tree-based foods. Jonas has also served as a shop owner at Sultan of Sanoj. Jonas has been a member of the board of advisors at Dripl, Kigúi, and Bolt Energie, where they contributed their expertise to drive sustainable and environmentally-friendly initiatives. Additionally, they served as a member of the board at Enchanté vzw, a network of local businesses and citizens offering free services. Jonas played a key role in the global expansion of Too Good To Go, the world's largest B2C marketplace for surplus food, holding various positions, including VP Global Expansion, Country Manager, and Co-founder. Furthermore, they co-founded Fair and Square, a non-profit organization that supports women in India by selling sustainable, handmade bags. Jonas also worked at PoweredLocal, where they focused on partnerships and sales, and at Pepperminds Belgium, serving in roles such as Head of Operations, Operations Manager, and Sales Coach/Project Manager.
Jonas Mallisse obtained a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in 2022. Prior to that, they studied Advertising and Consumer Behavior at Ghent University from 2011 to 2012. Jonas also pursued Business Management, Marketing & Sales at Arteveldehogeschool from 2009 to 2012.
