Dr. Garima Sharma

Dr. Garima Sharma is a Senior Reliability and Safety Engineer at Eaton since December 2022, previously serving as a Senior Reliability Engineer at Valeo from August 2021 to January 2023. With a research background as a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from July 2017 to January 2023, Dr. Sharma has also gained valuable experience through a research internship at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique, focusing on Hele-Shaw flows of a viscoplastic fluid in uneven geometry. Earlier roles include a research internship at the Indian Institute of Science related to hypersonic vehicles and practical training in engine overhaul at Air India Limited. Dr. Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Reliability from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and has multiple advanced degrees in Thermal Science, Energy Studies, and Computational Fluid Dynamics from institutions such as Polytech Nantes and UPES, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology.
