Liuxi Zhang

Liuxi (Calvin) Zhang, Ph.D., currently serves as the Global Technology Director at Eaton, leading a global energy system R&D team across the US, Asia, and Europe since January 2022. Prior to this role, Liuxi Zhang held various senior management positions at ComEd, including Sr. Manager of Distribution Engineering and Design, where oversight of a team designing power distribution systems was a key responsibility, and Sr. Manager of Smart Grid and Innovation, focusing on emerging technologies and smart grid strategy development. Earlier experience includes a leadership role at Nexant as Senior Distribution Systems Engineer, and research as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University, where Liuxi Zhang published multiple papers in reputable journals. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, along with executive management training from prestigious institutions such as The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Columbia Business School.
