Klaus Brun

Klaus Brun has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Klaus started their career at Solar Turbines in 1995 where they held various positions, including Account Manager and Sales Engineer. Klaus then moved on to GE Power where they worked as Manager for Product and Market Development from 2000 to 2002. Following this, Klaus joined Alstom Power as a Commercial Director in 2002. In 2003, they joined Southwest Research Institute as the Machinery Program Director, a position they held for 15 years. Most recently, Klaus has been serving as the Director of Research and Development at Elliott Group, Ebara Corp since 2018.

Klaus Brun completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology/Technician from the University of Florida in 1990. Klaus then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Virginia, which they completed in 1993. Klaus further continued their studies at the University of Virginia, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1996.
