Helen Parkinson

Helen Parkinson is a Senior Scientist and Head of the Knowledge Management Section at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), where contributions include leading the Molecular Archive Cluster, which manages significant molecular archives for DNA sequence, variation, and controlled-access data. With a career at EMBL-EBI starting in 2000, Helen has also served as the Functional Genomics Team Leader and Samples, Phenotypes and Ontologies Team Leader since 2013. Educational credentials include a PhD in Genetics from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Leeds.
