Zheng Xu

Zheng Xu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technology and startup sectors, currently serving as a Venture Partner at TSVC, focusing on investments in early-stage climate-tech and robotics startups since August 2021. Zheng co-founded eBots in June 2018 and acts as President and CEO, specializing in intelligent robotics for industrial applications. Prior roles include CEO and co-founder of Enova Technology Inc, and leading SolarCity's Silevo Business Unit, where production capacity was expanded for innovative solar cell technology. As the founding CEO of Silevo, Zheng successfully built a world-class team and launched high-efficiency solar products. Additional experience includes serving as Corporate Vice President at Applied Materials, overseeing a multi-billion dollar revenue business unit. Zheng holds two Ph.D. degrees, one in Materials Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and another in Electrical Engineering from Osaka University, along with a B.S. in Semiconductor Devices and Physics from Zhejiang University.
