Arun George, CSM, SDP

Arun George, CSM, SDP has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2003 as a Research Associate at West Virginia University, where they performed research in the field of Biometrics. In 2005, they became a Software Engineer at LEX On Demand, where they were the webmaster of www.lexondemand.com. In 2008, Arun worked as a Consultant for Verizon Wireless, Anheuser-Busch Companies, and LaserShip. At LaserShip, they designed, developed, and delivered the DMS (Data Management System), a web CRM portal to manage customers. In 2010, Arun worked as a Consultant for Salem Web Network, where they were part of the team to rewrite www.biblestudytools.com. From 2011 to 2012, Arun was a Senior Software Engineer at DDC Advocacy, where they worked as part of the senior development team, managing the suite of Microsoft applications. In 2014, Arun became Vice President of Technology at EC Group International, where they also worked as a Senior Technical Project Manager and Senior Project Leader. In these roles, they practised Agile Evangelism, spearheaded new business development efforts, provided capacity planning, strategy, and estimation advice for customers, advised, supervised, and led teams, provided architecture, technology, and solutions advice for customers, and established and implemented development methodologies and processes for teams.

Arun George, CSM, SDP has a comprehensive educational background. Arun obtained a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras in 2003. Arun then went on to earn an M.S. in Software from West Virginia University in 2005. In 2014, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance. In 2020, they obtained a Certified SAFe 5 DevOps Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Arun also holds a Microsoft Certified Professional certification.
