Merrick Brown

Merrick Brown is an experienced investment banking professional currently serving as an Investment Banking Associate at EC M&A since July 2019, previously holding the position of Investment Banking Analyst. Prior experience includes leadership as President of Green's View Capital from January 2016 to February 2019, where Merrick managed a student-run fund investing $750,000 of the university's endowment and facilitated the establishment of a secondary fund for impact investments. Merrick has also held summer analyst positions at EC Mergers & Acquisitions and worked as a Loan Officer Intern at BMC Capital, underwriting loans, and a Project Manager at Maplewood Group LLC, managing construction projects. Merrick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Business Finance, and Political Science from The University of the South and has furthered education at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
