Karthik Subburaman

Karthik Subburaman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management, business development, and sustainable development across various sectors. As Regional Director at the Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) since January 2014, Karthik oversees development solutions in Southeast Asia and South Asia, fostering partnerships with stakeholders such as the EU, World Bank, and various consulting partners. Concurrently, Karthik serves as Country Manager for ECC International, overseeing operations and business growth in the Philippines, and has held multiple roles within the organization focusing on training, consulting, and strategic partnerships. Karthik's past experience includes serving as a Private Sector Business Analyst for the UN Environment Programme and roles at Estee Lauder and Brookhaven National Laboratory. Karthik holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical & Electrochemical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, along with a certification in eLearning.
