Marie Burlot has a diverse work experience in the fields of fashion, architecture, and design. Marie started their career as a Creative Art Director and co-founder of the label Maryme-Jimmypaul in 2008. During their time at Maryme-Jimmypaul, they were responsible for the creative direction and head designing of the label. In 2019, Marie joined ECCO Leather B.V. as a Curator for collaborations and events, where they curated various partnerships and organized events. Currently, Marie works at ECCO as the Brand Spatial Experience Design Lead, utilizing their background in fashion and architecture to provide a holistic approach to spatial design. Marie collaborates with creative partners and offers leadership and creative direction aligned with the brand's overall strategy.
Marie Burlot received a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they pursued architecture at Ecole d'Architecture de Bretagne, earning a DPLG degree from 1997 to 2004.
