Mathew Hicks

Principal Engineer FPGA at Echodyne

Mathew Hicks has worked in a variety of positions since 2006. In 2006, they worked as a Resident Advisor for the University of Washington Housing and Food Services. In 2007, they were an Electrical Engineer Intern at Kimberly-Clark. In 2008, they were an Electrical Engineer Intern at the University of Washington Medical Center. From 2009-2013, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they were the ISARA CubeSat Flight Software Lead and Project System Engineer. From 2013-2019, they were an Avionics Program Manager and Avionics Engineer at Tethers Unlimited Inc. Since 2019, they have been a Senior FPGA Engineer at Echodyne Corp.

Mathew Hicks received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington in 2009. Mathew then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2017.
