Michael R Srebnicki has over 40 years of work experience in the engineering field. Michael R began their career in 1978 as a Systems Analyst and Software Design Engineer for Rockwell Collins' Flight Controls Department, working primarily on the L1011 Active Controls system. From 1982 to 1988, they worked at Honeywell Aerospace as a Computer Applications Engineer in the Military Navigation Department and Systems Engineer in the Underseas Systems Group, mostly involved with the Advanced Lightweight Torpedo (MK-50). Michael R then returned to Rockwell Collins as a Technical Staff Engineer V, responsible for systems requirements, hardware/software development, system integration, and customer support for numerous avionics programs. In 2001, Michael joined Universal Avionics as a Senior Systems Engineer, working in all three product areas of the division: Advanced Displays, Unilink (ACARS) and the Flight Management System. Michael R'smost recent position was as a Senior Systems Engineer at Honeywell from 2015 to 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Systems Engineer at Echodyne.

Michael R Srebnicki's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Systems from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1978. Michael R then pursued graduate work in MSEE at Iowa State University in 1978, studying Aerodynamics. Michael R continued their graduate work in MSEE at the University of Iowa in 1981, studying Mathematics and Computer Science. Michael R also pursued graduate work in MSEE at the University of Minnesota in 1981, studying Advanced Mathematics. Finally, they completed graduate work in MSEE at the University of Washington in 2001, studying Professional Engineering Development.
