Malcom Finlay

Malcolm Finlay is a seasoned medical professional and academic, currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at RHYTHM AI Ltd since September 2020 and as Chief Medical Officer at Echopoint Medical Ltd since April 2019. As a founder and Board Member of Rhythm AI, Malcolm Finlay plays a pivotal role in guiding technical developments and managing the intellectual property portfolio. In addition to these roles, Malcolm Finlay has been a Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Health NHS Trust since April 2013 and has held various positions at University College London since October 2009, including Honorary Senior Lecturer and Senior Clinical Research Fellow. Previous experience includes heading medical operations at Epicardio Ltd and training in cardiology at Barts and The London NHS Trust. Malcolm Finlay's educational background includes a BMBCh in Medicine from the University of Oxford, a PhD in Cardiac Electrophysiology from UCL, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physiological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
