In the early stages of their career, Peter worked at companies like NetApp, Blizzard North, PF.Magic, and Berkeley Systems, where they designed and built various software applications, game engines, and virtual pets. Peter also ran usability tests and acted as a liaison between departments.

Peter Kemmer studied at Syracuse University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Dual Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Computer Graphics & Art Video.
