Chrissie Herbert FCA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Chrissie started their career at KPMG as an Auditor and worked there from November 1991 to June 1996. Chrissie then joined Reed Elsevier as an Internal Auditor from July 1996 to July 1998.
In 1998, they joined House of Fraser as a Corporate Finance Analyst and was later promoted to Financial Controller, overseeing various finance departments and reporting to the Finance Director and Deputy Chief Executive. Chrissie worked at House of Fraser from July 1998 to August 2003.
Next, Chrissie joined Travelodge Hotels Limited, where they held several roles including Commercial & Business Planning Director, Financial Services Director, and Director of HR & QM Director. Chrissie'sresponsibilities included driving the overall business strategy, budgeting and forecasting, internal and external reporting, and implementing IFRS reporting. Chrissie worked at Travelodge Hotels Limited from September 2003 to August 2010.
After taking a maternity leave/career break from September 2010 to October 2011, they joined Collect+ as the Finance Director & Company Secretary. Collect+ was a start-up joint venture between PayPoint plc and Yodel, offering an innovative parcel delivery and returns service. Chrissie was responsible for the financial management of the business during its fast-growing phase and worked there from October 2011 to April 2015.
In April 2015, Chrissie joined PayPoint plc as the UK & I Finance Director, also taking on the role of Group Financial Controller. Chrissie'sresponsibilities included internal and external reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, VAT, and settlement to clients and retailers. Chrissie significantly improved the planning and forecasting process, implemented operational reporting, and enhanced the accuracy and timeliness of reporting. Chrissie stayed at PayPoint plc until May 2017.
Currently, Chrissie serves as the CFO at Eckoh since May 2017.
Chrissie Herbert FCA began their education at Leeds Beckett University from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in European Finance & Accounting. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education and obtained a Chartered Accountant qualification from an unspecified institution for the period of 1992 to 1995. In 2010, they attended the London Business School to complete a program on Developing Strategy for Value Creation, though it is unclear whether they received a degree.
