Ed Alvarez

Ed Alvarez is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in systems engineering and R&D. Currently serving as the Lead Systems Engineer and Manufacturing Manager at Eckoh since May 2018, Alvarez has been part of the company since 2014, contributing to the development of operational solutions and PCI compliant payment services for contact centers. Prior to Eckoh, Alvarez held positions as a Software Engineer at Avaya, where responsibilities included leading design projects for Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, and as R&D Group Leader at Nortel Networks, focusing on network design and implementation. Earlier career experience includes work as a Senior Engineering Technician at Periphonics Corp. Alvarez holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer Technology from Suffolk County Community College.
