Eric Van Nostrand has worked in a variety of roles in the academic and research fields. Eric began their career in 2002 as an Undergraduate Research at MIT, followed by a Research Assistant at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from 2005-2006. Eric then went on to Stanford University, where they worked as a PhD Student and Postdoctoral Researcher from 2006-2013. After that, they were a Co-founder at Eclipse BioInnovations from 2017-2020, and is currently an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine.
Eric Van Nostrand began their educational journey in 2001, when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Eric then went on to pursue a PhD in Genetics from Stanford University School of Medicine, which they completed in 2012. Afterward, they completed a Certificate Program in the Stanford Ignite (formerly Summer Institute for Entrepreneurship) at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
