Philip Langer

Philip Langer serves as the CEO and Principal Software Architect at EclipseSource in Austria, leading initiatives in modeling and tool platform technologies within the Eclipse ecosystem since August 2014. As an Eclipse Committer and Project Lead, Philip has contributed to projects such as GLSP, Theia, Sprotty, EMF.cloud, and more. Prior positions include Postdoctoral Researcher at the Vienna University of Technology, where responsibilities encompassed project management, scientific development in model-driven engineering, lecturing, and mentoring; and roles at Johannes Kepler University, Mercury Business Solutions GmbH, and Prolytic GmbH, focusing on software development and web application consulting. Philip holds a Ph.D. and Dipl.-Ing. in Computer Science and Business Informatics, respectively, from the Vienna University of Technology.
