William Hurley

William Hurley is a co-founder and general partner at Ecliptic Capital. William has also served as a managing director at Goldman Sachs and a founder and CEO of Honest Dollar. Prior to that, they were the founder and chief innovation officer of Chaotic Moon Studios.

Hurley has a long history of working in the technology and financial services industries. William started their career as a software engineer at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. William later transitioned to the Eisenhower Fellowships, where they worked with Fellows from around the world on business and economic development projects.

In 2010, Hurley co-founded Chaotic Moon Studios, a mobile development company that was acquired by Accenture in 2014. During their time at Chaotic Moon, Hurley gained experience in mobile development, wearables, and the app economy. William also designed and developed innovative products for major brands such as Coca-Cola and Ford.

In 2015, Hurley founded Honest Dollar, a financial services startup that was acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2016. At Goldman Sachs, Hurley led a team of developers and engineers in creating a new stealth startup.

Hurley is passionate about technology and innovation. William is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been featured in Forbes, Inc., and TechCrunch.
