Kate Gunthorp

Kate Gunthorp serves on the Board of Trustees for Eco Choice Aotearoa as a Future Director since March 2023. Currently, Kate holds the position of Director, ESG Advisory at Westpac New Zealand, having begun this role in May 2023. Prior experience includes various leadership positions at ANZ from July 2017 to May 2023, such as Director of Sustainable Finance and Acting Head of Loans & Markets Execution. Additional roles include Senior Associate in Finance at Mayne Wetherell and Travers Smith, as well as a stint as Legal Secondee at Santander UK Corporate Banking. Kate's academic credentials include a BA/LLB(Hons) from The University of Auckland and a program on Business and Climate Change at the University of Cambridge.
