Leigh Rothermel

Leigh Rothermel has a diverse work experience. Leigh began their career in 2012 at Dell SecureWorks as a Security Systems Sr. Analyst, where they worked until 2015. Leigh then pursued their passion for outdoor activities and hiked the Appalachian Trail, subsequently working in the outdoor industry for organizations such as the Len Foote Hike Inn and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Mountain Crossings. In 2019, Leigh joined Ecobot, a company that develops software for the environmental regulatory industry. Leigh held various roles at Ecobot, including Business Development Team Lead and currently serves as the Manager of Business Development.

Leigh Rothermel attended the University of Mississippi from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Intelligence and Security Studies/Political Science. In addition to their degree, Leigh also obtained several certifications. In February 2016, they acquired a Leave No Trace Certification from the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. In March 2014, they received a Network+ certification from CompTIA. Furthermore, in May 2013, they gained an ITIL Foundations certification from PeopleCert, and in February 2013, they earned a GSEC Security Essentials certification from SANS.
