Chris Watts

Chris Watts is an experienced SAP technical professional currently serving as SAP Technical Manager and Principal Architect at ChampionX since June 2020, where responsibilities include managing SAP Basis, ABAP Development, SAP Security, and Middleware teams while supporting legacy ECC and BI instances and developing a new S4 HANA landscape. Previously, Chris held the role of SAP Principal Architect at Ecolab, focusing on parallel development landscapes for Ecolab and NalcoChampion projects, and served as SAP Technical Process Architect at NalcoChampion, where internal SAP processes were created for requirement collection and development management. Chris founded Essential Innovation, LP to provide SAP consulting services and has held significant positions such as SAP Lead Technical Developer at LyondellBasell Industries and Senior Technical Consultant at Ernst & Young. The educational background includes degrees from Texas A&M University and Texas State University.
