Jonathan Miller

Jonathan Miller is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in membership and communications, currently serving as the Director of Membership and Communications at the Ecological Society of America since June 2018. Key strengths include partnership building, program management, and stakeholder engagement, demonstrated through the implementation of a new business model for ESA’s certification program and spearheading initiatives focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. Prior roles include managing virtual and volunteer services for Goodwill Industries International, where programmatic opportunities were developed to expand mission services, as well as experience in campaign strategy for local governance and online communications management for various organizations. Jonathan holds a Master of Professional Writing from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in History from American University.
