Kenny Alvarez

Kenny L. Alvarez, PhD, currently serves as the CEO of ECOMAGNET, a deep-tech startup focusing on scaling technology from laboratory to industrial levels since March 2021. Previous experience includes roles as an Entrepreneur at Ceit, where business development and market analysis were key activities from July 2016 to February 2021, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where research involved manufacturing soft magnetic powders while also tutoring PhD students. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Materials Engineering from Tecnun - Universidad de Navarra, a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, and a Bachelor of Technology in Technical Drawing. Additional experience includes a research internship at Tyndall and a position as an Assistant Lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, along with early career work as an Autocad Draughtsman at Nexxo S.A.
