Deepti Kandhol

Deepti Kandhol's work experience includes various roles in different companies. In 2012, they worked as an Industrial Trainee in the Business Excellence division at Eicher Tractors, where they focused on improving the overall operating performance of the paint shop and implementing continuous improvement techniques.

From 2013 to 2014, Deepti served as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in the Customer Service HVAC department at BlueStar, handling customer service tasks in the HVAC industry.

In 2016, they worked as a Sales Engineer for New Equipment Sales at Otis Elevator Co., where they were responsible for selling new elevator equipment.

Deepti joined CERN in 2019 and held multiple positions within the organization. As a Performance Management Engineer, they conducted reviews and audits of industrial processes and services, provided optimization tools based on simulations and data analysis, and worked on vehicle fleet renewal projects. During this time, they also served as a Master Thesis Student and completed a logistics study for the Future Circular Collider machine.

In 2018, Deepti joined Ecomate as an Engineer, focusing on product development, strategy, and marketing. Deepti played a key role in developing a digital assessment algorithm and represented the start-up in international competitions.

Most recently, in 2021, they returned to CERN as a Project Management Engineer and currently works as a Project Planning Officer.

Deepti Kandhol obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, between 2009 and 2013. Deepti then pursued a Master of Science degree in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, they briefly attended ESSCA in 2018 to complete a Master's degree in International Business.
