Barbara Western

Barbara Western currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Economic Policy Institute. Prior to this role, Barbara held the same position at the Food Research & Action Center. Barbara also has extensive experience as the Acting Executive Director at OMB Watch. Throughout their career, Barbara has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational skills in various organizations. Barbara is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and has also completed a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University.
