Valerie Wilson

Valerie Wilson is the current Director of Program on Race, Ethnicity & the Economy at the Economic Policy Institute where Valerie conducts research and policy analysis on the economic condition of people of color in America. Prior to this, Valerie held the position of Vice President of Research and Economist at the National Urban League where Valerie focused on economic research and policy analysis. Wilson has also served as a Senior Resident Scholar, conducting economic research. Wilson holds a PhD in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hampton University.
